Young volunteers from  Club CADENA Guatemala delivered protection gear to USAC medicine students. The group delivered a total of 1,704 K95 masks; 12,780 surgical masks, 142 polypropylene robes and 142 gallons of gel alcohol, which will allow them to work in rural area for the next three months. Each student will receive  12 K95 masks, 90 surgical masks, one robe and one gallon of alcohol gel.  

These students where contacted by the CADENA volunteers, who set out to determine their needs before organizing a digital fundraising campaign with the Beth El Jewish community, of West Palm Beach, Florida. Club CADENA CAG is a group of volunteers from the Guatemala’s American School constantly developing develop emergency-relief and humanitarian-aid projects. 

This group is part of the activities developed by CADENA Guatemala, the humanitarian branch of Guatemala’s Jewish communities, in  its quest to help those in the direst of circumstances. This mission was dedicated to the late Bertha de Bermuth Z”L.
