Due to the pandemic, many of the support programs that previously took place to help families stay warm during cold temperatures have been reallocated. For this reason, they contacted us to bring humanitarian aid to communities in Durango, which, despite the fact that spring has already started, continue with temperatures that reach -7°C. Our volunteers, in coordination with CEPC Durango, helped 500 families (2,150 people) in the localities of Guajolotes, La Cumbre, Laguna de Lajas, San Francisco de Lajas and San Bernardino Milpillas in the municipality of Pueblo Nuevo. Pantries, blankets and clothes were delivered, and interactive activities were carried out with the girls and boys to promote their recreation and coexistence.
