Diving into the world of rescue! ⛑️🚨 Our group embraced a Light Search & Rescue Course, discovering the art of using everyday tools to safely extract someone from a collapsed structure. Empowerment through knowledge and readiness for any situation. 💪🏻🧗🏼♀️
בצלילה לעולם ההצלה! הקבוצה שלנו השתתפה בקורס חיפוש והצלה קל, וגילתה את האמנות של שימוש בכלים יומיומיים כדי לחלץ מישהו בבטחה ממבנה שהתמוטט. העצמה דרך ידע והכנה לכל מצב.

Today we had an educational workshop with @molet_project a movement based on design thinking to raise awareness for a sustainable world. We had a hands-on experience creating our own unique pieces from upcycling furniture making a positive change to the environment and where donated to a community. 🪵♻️🔨
היום קיימנו סדנה חינוכית עם @molet_project תנועה המבוססת על חשיבה עיצובית להעלאת מודעות לעולם בר קיימא. חווינו התנסות מעשית ביצירת פריטים ייחודיים משלנו ממחזור רהיטים, ובכך עשינו שינוי חיובי לסביבה ותרמנו אותם לקהילה.

Yesterday, our amazing CADENA Israel Gap Year Program participants rolled up their sleeves to help rehabilitate and maintain the SOS Children`s Village Megadim. Together, we cleaned, repaired, and brightened up this special place.

At #CADENAIsrael 🇮🇱, this month we supported 11 families from the moshav #NetivHaasara by cleaning and preparing their homes for their return, a collaborative effort between local community and volunteers. In some cases, it was the first time they returned home since the events of October 7.
Also, we had the opportunity to visit Netiv laShalom (Netiv for Peace). An initiative to promote peace in the region through art, placing mosaics with messages of peace to complete a mural on the moshav`s defense wall. 🫶
