At #CADENAIsrael 🇮🇱, this month we supported 11 families from the moshav #NetivHaasara by cleaning and preparing their homes for their return, a collaborative effort between local community and volunteers. In some cases, it was the first time they returned home since the events of October 7.
Also, we had the opportunity to visit Netiv laShalom (Netiv for Peace). An initiative to promote peace in the region through art, placing mosaics with messages of peace to complete a mural on the moshav`s defense wall. 🫶

On the seventh day of our volunteer trip, we had a conversation with the sister of a survivor of the October 7th kidnappings. We ended this day with #Havdalah at #KikarHajatufim (The Hostage Square), a ritual to mark the end of Shabbat. Every moment shared reinforces our commitment to this significant cause. 🫶

On the sixth day, we continued supporting agricultural activities, concluding the day at #DizengoffSquare, where in a very special dynamic we reflected on the essence of mutual support and its importance in the face of adversity. 🙂

During the third day of our volunteering trip, we engaged in agricultural activities, assisting in the harvesting of food. On the fourth day, we prepared meals destined for families and displaced individuals in Natalie’s Kitchen. Additionally, we visited the hospital Tel Hashomer-Sheba to support those in need. 🇮🇱
To conclude these two days of learning and volunteering, we had an inspiring conversation with Einav Levy, a board member of our organization and the founder the humanitarian school in #Israel. We also participated in an art and creativity workshop organized by displaced women in Jerusalem. 🫶

Durante el tercer día de nuestro viaje de voluntariado nos dedicamos a realizar actividades agrícolas, apoyando en la cosecha y cultivo de alimento. En el cuarto día, preparamos comida destinada para familias y personas desplazadas en la cocina de Natalie’s Kitchen. Además, visitamos el hospital Tel Hashomer-Sheba para brindar acompañamiento a quienes más lo necesitaban.
