We founded CADENA Israel intending to bring together people from all over the world who live in or are visiting Israel according to the principles of our organization: fighting against indifference and repairing the world.

Why did we start in Israel?

CADENA Israel opened its doors in 2012, after having conducted a search and rescue course for a group of 10 people.

The success of this course was such that, that same year, the participants played a key role in our intervention in Syria.

In 2014, we launched the first search and rescue *Hachshara* (training program), which in turn marked the beginnings of the Go Team at CADENA Mexico.

LAOMEK in Machon L'Madrichim

Workshop of five to seven sessions in which young leaders of several youth movements around the world learn about humanitarian aid, Tikkun Olam, and CADENA.

Humanitarian Rescue Hajshara (GoTeam)

Two-month course in which our volunteers are trained to become rescue workers with a humanitarian perspective to subsequently join the Go Team in Mexico.

Regeneration and CADENA Initiative

Currently, both programs are active in the Hilel schools in Ramat Gan and Brenner in Givatayim. In 2022, Israel’s team won first place in the CADENA Initiative for that year.

Humanitarian Hajshara

A six-week program in which participants of long-term programs in Israel learn about humanitarian aid, Tikkun Olam, and CADENA by traveling throughout the country and having close encounters with different realities, companies and experts.
