This year, at CADENA Costa Rica we are providing continuous support to communities in vulnerable situations with one of our most important projects: Agua YA.

During the months of March, April, May and June 2023, we installed filters in the community of Buenos Aires de Puntarenas where access to potable water is scarce and in most cases, non-existent. With the support of Durman, who donated water tanks and pipes, and the support of the Municipality of Buenos Aires, three CADENA Costa Rica volunteers installed water filters and water collection systems. In total we benefited 8,380 people with the installation of these systems and filters in schools, places where water service was insufficient.
