AGUA YA El Rodeo, Escuintla

By CADENA

Axis: Humanitarian Action

Office: Guatemala

In June 2023, in El Rodeo, Escuintla, we deployed a humanitarian intervention to support elderly people living in a community made vulnerable by the Volcano of Fire. With support from Yeshiva University and Transformando Vidas we were able to deliver 40 buckets for water storage and filtering, and 2 community water filters. Also, in support of China Wok, we were able to deliver 45 lunches to share with the people of the community. In total, with the help of volunteers from CADENA, Transformando Vidas and Yeshiva University, we were able to benefit more than 2,000 people in the community of El Rodeo.

Did you know...

that, with as little as $1 USD per day, you can help us bring sage water where it is needed most?

$1.00 USD al mes pueden convertirse en:

  • Purifying filters for families without access to drinking water.
  • Water collection and storage systems for vulnerable communities.
  • Deep wells in regions where water is scarce.

Now imagine if that gesture were repeated every month.

Make your donation and be the reason someone receives safe water when they need it most.
