Humanitarian Intervention in Chaco

By CADENA

Axis: Health and Resilience

Office: Argentina

From October 6 to 9, 2023, CADENA Argentina deployed a humanitarian intervention in Ex Campo Zampa in Chaco. Together with our general and health volunteers, we fulfilled the objective of providing tools for potential situations that could lead to disasters. During this intervention we offered spaces for children to learn about emotional management, the generation of safe spaces and environmental care. We also focused on the creation of spaces for women, where we held workshops, training and conversation spaces to build support and containment networks. We also offered medical consultations for adults, implemented dengue, zika and chikungunya prevention workshops, and delivered medicines, food and bottles of bleach.
