Axis: Health and Resilience

Office: Colombia

From April 27 to 28, 2023, CADENA Colombia deployed an intervention to help people displaced by the armed conflict in the country. From this intervention we sought to address the conditions in which they lived, dignifying their space in the shelters in Forzado, Buenaventura. Thanks to the donation of clothes from FDS, we were able to attend to the victims of violence and provide support to displaced families and children.

At the end of this intervention, we delivered: 300 groceries, 360 school kits, 300 mattresses, 300 towels, 1,200 articles of clothing, and 100 diapers. To improve health conditions, we provided 95 medical consultations and 50 dental consultations, benefiting 1,200 people. During this intervention, we focused on dignifying their space and providing help to improve their health.
