Axis: Humanitarian Action

From January 23 to 27, 2023 in San Cristobal in Alta Verapaz, we deployed a humanitarian intervention to assist one of the communities most affected by the floods caused by tropical storm Julia. Together with our volunteers and the Alta Verapaz branch of the Red Cross, we installed a water system in the community and carried out a medical day. At the end of the intervention we benefited 1,450 people with the installation of the water collection and storage system, consisting of 2 water tanks and 3 water filters, and the medical day that provided support to a native community affected by the floods.
