WE PARTICIPATED IN A NATIONAL WORKSHOP TO STRENGTHEN ANTICIPATORY ACTION IN EMERGENCIES

By CADENA

As an active part of the Guatemala Hub, CADENA CJG participated on June 27th in the national workshop for the validation and approval of the minimum Anticipatory Action Packages. This important meeting brought together the national working group in order to validate the key tools that guide the implementation of prior actions in situations of risk, emergencies or disasters.

During the event, the lessons learned from the simulation of the activation of the Early Action Plan (PAT) in the event of possible flooding caused by tropical cyclones were also shared. We welcome these spaces for inter-institutional coordination that strengthen preparedness and humanitarian response.
