RECOVERY EFFORTS CONTINUE AFTER HURRICANE ERICK
On July 4th, we carried out a second humanitarian intervention in Pinotepa de Don Luis, Oaxaca, following the impact of Hurricane Erick.
With the support of Fundación Coppel, Volaris, and SOCPINDA, we delivered 350 food packages, 1,000 bottles of electrolytes, 350 mosquito nets, and 350 hygiene kits. We also carried out a wellness brigade, providing 70 medical consultations and 14 psychological consultations. More than 1,650 people were directly assisted. This intervention helped strengthen health and food support efforts in the aftermath of the disaster.
VERACRUZ AFTER HURRICANE ERICK
On July 14th, after heavy rains caused by Hurricane Erick, we delivered urgent aid to four isolated communities in the municipality of Ixhuatlán de Madero, in northern Veracruz. With logistical support from local authorities, we distributed 450 food packages, 600 bottles of electrolytes, and 450 cleaning kits. Thanks to the support of Fundación Coppel, we were able to benefit over 1,800 people.
UNITED FOR HEALTH: MEDICAL BRIGADES ACTIVATED AFTER FLOODS IN THE STATE OF MEXICO
On July 12, we activated a humanitarian intervention in the community of Tlacuitlapa, Santiago Tianguistenco, State of Mexico, after a river overflowed its banks. With the support of Haber Holding, we provided 69 medical and 94 dental consultations and delivered more than 80 medicines. We also delivered 60 food pantries, 120 blankets, 60 cleaning kits, 60 hygiene kits and mattresses.
RECYCLING TO REBUILD: WE CONTINUE THE “FROM WASTE TO CHANGE” PROJECT
On July 11th, we continued the From Waste to Change project in the community of El Santito, Almoloya de Juárez, State of Mexico. With the support of Banorte, we helped families improve their homes using roofing sheets made from recycled multilayer packaging. This project strengthens housing resilience and promotes a culture of sustainability.
INSPIRING CHILDHOOD: CAMP SABABA TRAINS HUMANITARIAN LEADERS
At the end of July, we carried out community building activities for children as part of Camp Sababa in Tepotzotlán, State of Mexico. Children participated in sessions focused on leadership, humanitarian ethics, and teamwork. These actions reinforce our commitment to shaping new generations of humanitarian leaders guided by the values of Tikkun Olam.
CARING FOR CAREGIVERS: WELLNESS HIKE FOR OUR HEALTH TEAM
On July 27th, we organized a wellness hike (Hike Health) as part of our strategies to retain and strengthen the professional volunteer network under our Health and Resilience program.
This activity was designed especially for the doctors, dentists, and psychologists who are part of our emergency brigades. Through this initiative, we aimed to recognize their efforts, strengthen community bonds among frontline care providers, and offer them a space for physical and emotional self-care.
