HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE TO FLOODS IN TLALTIZAPÁN
After the floods registered on August 30, CADENA deployed its response team during the first days of September in Huatecalco, Santa Rosa and Temimilcingo, communities located in the municipality of Tlaltizapán de Zapata, Morelos.
A total of 50 food kits, cleaning kits, warm clothing, and logistical support were delivered to 250 affected people. This intervention was carried out in coordination with the Municipal DIF and with the support of Fundación Coppel, Fundación AXA, and Fundación The Home Depot México, who provided resources and donations to respond to the emergency.
SUPPORT IN MITLA, OAXACA
During the first week of September, at CADENA México, we carried out a humanitarian intervention in Zapotec communities of Mixtla and nearby municipalities.
Our team delivered 450 food kits, roofing materials, paint, and 350 balls as part of community activities that benefited more than 2,400 people.
SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THE EXPLOSION IN IZTAPALAPA

Following the explosion that took place on September 10th at Puente La Concordia in Iztapalapa, we conducted an emergency response operation to assist 200 affected people.
We distributed food, water, and 300 units of electrolytes, along with direct support to five public hospitals in the area.
Thanks to the collaboration of METLIFE, Fundación The Home Depot México, and JUMEX, we were able to respond immediately, ensuring care and assistance during the first critical hours of the crisis.
TRAINING NEW HUMANITARIAN LEADERS
The CADENA Youth Kickoff Seminar 2025 took place from September 26th to 29th in Malinalco, State of Mexico, with the participation of young people from across the country. Over four days, participants engaged in leadership, humanitarian ethics, and operational planning workshops.
