FROST RESPONSE IN CHIHUAHUA

In response to low temperatures registered in the mountainous regions of Chihuahua, at CADENA, alongside volunteers from Fundación Familia Bocar’s team, we launched a humanitarian intervention to assist vulnerable populations in the municipality of Aldama. We distributed hygiene and cleaning kits, cots with mattresses, electric stoves, blankets, face masks, toothbrushes, water filters, and solar lamps, benefiting around 1,800 people.

 

2026 CAMP MACCABI

On this edition of Camp Maccabi Miami, over 100 young people assisted communities that were affected by recent frosts in Jaltepec and San Joaquin Lamillas, State of Mexico. Over the course of four days, they participated in humanitarian training activities and provided hand in hand aid to around 1,200 people with food kits, medications, and medical and dental consultations.

 

FLOOD RESPONSE IN QUERETARO

Following the heavy rains that caused severe flooding in Queretaro last October, at CADENA Mexico, together with CENACED, we deployed our team to continue supporting recovery efforts and to provide assistance to the most vulnerable people. Throughout the intervention, we distributed 98 food kits, 1,152 water bottles, and 98 hygiene kits for around 400 people.

 

FLOOD RESPONSE IN VERACRUZ

On December 22, the La Palma River in Veracruz overflowed following heavy rains, causing severe flooding and significant damage in nearby communities. In the aftermath of this crisis, our team arrived in Catemaco to provide essential support to those affected. Thanks to the invaluable support of Promotora Social Mexico, we distributed food kits, solar lamps, cots with mattresses, blankets, cleaning kits, hygiene kits, community water filters, and medications, as well as providing medical and psychological consultations to respond to urgent health needs. We were able to assist 798 people through these actions.
