CURUNDU CHILDREN’S DINING HALL AND DOS MARES CHILDREN’S DINING HALL

We brought the coordinator of the new Dos Mares Children’s Dinig Hall to visit the Curundu Children’s Dining Hall aiming to learn firsthand how it operates and draw from its experience. During the visit, both coordinators were able to meet, exchange ideas, and share insights on daily operations, child-centered care, and the challenges they each face in their respective communities. We also had the opportunity to join the team and serve that day’s lunch, experiencing the dynamics and impact this project has on the children who attend the center.

DOS MARES CHILDREN’S DINING HALL

We installed a new handwashing station at the entrance of the dining hall, connected to our water tank, to strengthen hygiene practices before and during each meal. This initiative will improve the space as well as help educate children on the importance of handwashing and personal care. In addition, we donated books and materials for the children’s daily use, fostering learning, imagination, and meaningful use of time within the center. We will continue working to make this space increasingly safe, educational, and welcoming for all.

Did you know...

that, with as little as $1 USD per day, you can help us bring sage water where it is needed most?

$1.00 USD al mes pueden convertirse en:

  • Purifying filters for families without access to drinking water.
  • Water collection and storage systems for vulnerable communities.
  • Deep wells in regions where water is scarce.

Now imagine if that gesture were repeated every month.

Make your donation and be the reason someone receives safe water when they need it most.
