After having expanded to several countries in Latin America, in 2022 we decided to open offices in Venezuela, where we formed a team committed and dedicated to humanitarian action in the region.

Why are we located in Venezuela?

Due to its geographical features, Venezuela is exposed to various natural phenomena such as earthquakes, landslides, floods, tropical storms, and fires. Moreover, the country is composed of a large number of vulnerable populations who cannot access an appropriate protection and risk management system, not to mention many of them undergo poverty as well.

On the other hand, the number of forced displacements has increased in recent years, which has contributed to the migration crisis in the country.

All of the above is only aggravated by the economic, political and social crisis, so our work must be carried out on multiple fronts: from emergency care to prevention and resilience.
