First Generation of Training Guides Mexico

By CADENA

Axis: Education and Training

Office: Mexico

Between October and December 2023, we created a specialized training area in non-formal education to generate an impact on the generation of resilience during humanitarian interventions. With this new area, we designed a course of 6 face-to-face sessions, where participants learned about game theory and psychosocial support, in addition to a first aid certification.

At the end of the course, 18 people became our first Training Guides. The task of this first generation is to be the auxiliary arm of the psychosocial area, applying non-formal education strategies to support those who need it most. This event marks the beginning of a new area in CADENA Mexico, formalizing the relationship between volunteering and humanitarian education.
