Axis: Education and Training

Between August and September 2023 in CADENA Israel we will carry out our Humanitarian Achshara. We recognize that one of the most important pillars of CADENA is the education and training for young people interested in volunteering, seeking to bring them closer to programs related to Tikkun Olam and humanitarian action. The collaboration with Maccabi World Union allowed us to carry out this program, in which 17 young people and volunteers participated.

Throughout this Humanitarian Achshara, our group traveled the length and breadth of the country, learning to be better people for Israeli society. Our mission with the community is generated from education, influencing the repair of the world and transforming realities in our country. The Humanitarian Achshara is a program in which our staff and volunteers work together, and both are sensitized to social issues. Through training and interactions with experts and meetings with vulnerable populations, we open spaces for dialogue and proactive reflection.
