We founded our offices in Argentina in 2018. Since then, we have carried out more than 150 cases of humanitarian action with the aim of building resilience for communities throughout the country.

Why are we located in Argentina?

Argentina is a country with a great variety of geological features, where each region has its own particularities. Floods, earthquakes, fires, and droughts are some of the phenomena that regularly affect the area.

The climate crisis has increased the number and severity of disasters. Fires and droughts are becoming more frequent, and the lack of an organized and consistent response indicates that the trend will continue to increase.

Meanwhile, poverty is also on the rise: according to INDEC, one in four inhabitants, and more than half of children, live below the poverty line. Although not all communities are in a disaster-prone area, this lack of resources leads to recurrent emergencies, which, in turn, means a subsequent neglect of education and other important services.
