In early March 2022, we sent a volunteer team to support various points along the border between Poland and Ukraine: a children’s center in Korczowa, a refugee assistance center in Medyka, and an operations center in Przemyśl. They worked tirelessly to distribute essential items, medical equipment, hygiene kits, and psychosocial support to the people most affected by the crisis in Ukraine. They also constructed bridges to facilitate the safe passage of as many people as possible to a secure location.
