Exactly 32 years after the strongest earthquake in Mexico’s modern history, which occurred on September 19, 1985, a 7.1-scale earthquake struck Mexico City once again. 369 people lost their lives, and millions were severely affected by the damages to infrastructure.
The Go Team took action by assessing the damage and determining the regions where more aid was required. The team worked in 10 collapsed buildings, where 8 people were rescued alive, and other 20 people were successfully located.
