VENEZUELA EARTHQUAKES – PRESS RELEASE

By CADENA

June 25th, 2026 – On June 24th, two powerful 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes shook Venezuela, resulting in the collapse of several structures and causing severe material and human losses in Caracas and nearby regions.

In the face of this situation, at CADENA International, we are deploying our Go Team, our search and rescue team, to assist immediate response operations with technologies such as Life Locator, and to assess humanitarian needs on the ground.

Additionally, we are working closely with the Jewish community of Guatemala and with our local CADENA team to provide aid and support to people and communities affected by this disaster.

These actions reflect the commitment of CADENA, the humanitarian arm of the world’s Jewish communities, to act swiftly in the face of emergencies anywhere in the world. Through our work, we strive to alleviate human suffering by taking humanitarian action in the face of natural phenomena, strengthening resilience, and providing aid to the most vulnerable people, regardless of their origin, creed, or religion.
