PREPARING HUMANITARIAN AID FOR VENEZUELA

On July 2, 35 CADENA volunteers joined hundreds of people from Global Empowerment Mission in Doral to prepare humanitarian aid for communities affected by the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela.

Together, we sorted, organized, and packed essential supplies that will soon reach families currently facing immense loss and challenges.

Thank you to our volunteers for donating their time and energy to bring support to those who need it most.

UNMUTE: EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES TO RECOGNIZE MISINFORMATION

We are proud to continue our collaboration with Coexpace on UNMUTE, an initiative dedicated to addressing the challenge of misinformation.

In these times, where information is constantly at our fingertips, the ability to distinguish credible facts from manipulated content is more important than ever. The overwhelming volume of information available today, combined with the influence of ideological and political agendas, has created an environment where misinformation can easily shape public opinion and decision-making.

Through this partnership, we are working on our second UNMUTE exhibition, which will be presented in public spaces to raise awareness about the importance of media literacy and critical thinking. The exhibition encourages visitors to question the information they consume, recognize potential biases, and seek reliable, evidence-based sources before forming opinions or sharing content.

This past month, our efforts have focused on training volunteers from universities and schools who will serve as ambassadors of the initiative. By partnering with educational institutions, we aim to expand the reach of the UNMUTE exhibition and inspire more people to become thoughtful, informed consumers of information.
