Closing Ceremony of “Juventud 2026”

On Thursday, August 20, we held the closing ceremony of Juventud 2026, together with the young people who participated in the program and their families, who came to support them and celebrate this moment.

During the event, we shared words of gratitude from the coordinators, the young participants, and Marcelo Acsebrud, president of CADENA Argentina. We also enjoyed group dynamics, games, and a shared afternoon snack.

To wrap up the day, we invited the youth and their families to experience volunteering firsthand. In record time, we cooked and packed 70 meal boxes that were later delivered to the open-air soup kitchen “El Gomero.”

In this way, we closed Juventud 2026 by celebrating everything learned and reaffirming the young people’s commitment to solidarity and community action.

Inauguration Ceremony of the New Playground at CPI “Pequeños Pasos”

In alliance with the Embassy of Israel in Argentina and MASHAV, the Israeli Agency for International Development Cooperation, and with the support of our volunteers, we renovated the space at the Early Childhood Center (CPI) “Pequeños Pasos,” located in the neighborhood of La Boca.

During the event, we transformed the space with new murals and installed a playground so that the children attending the center can enjoy a renewed, colorful environment designed for their development and recreation.

Children’s Day Event at Fundación Cielo

As part of Children’s Day celebrations, our volunteers led a recreational event at Fundación Cielo, located in the neighborhood of Villa Lugano.

We shared an afternoon filled with games and activities, such as jump rope, drawing, painting, and ball games. Additionally, alongside the women’s cooperative “Mordisco,” the children participated in a cooking workshop where they made their own sweet cookies to take home as a keepsake.

To end the day, each child was able to choose their own gift, closing an afternoon full of joy, games, and shared moments.

Urban Rosh Hashanah

As part of the Rosh Hashanah celebration, we participated in “Urban Rosh Hashanah,” a Limud initiative held at Plaza Seeber.

During the event, we hosted a booth where we invited participants to make blankets that will be sent to people affected by the severe flooding expected in the region.

It was an afternoon of gathering, music, and solidarity, where we celebrated the arrival of a new year by sharing and turning participation into action.

Humanitarian Aid Training Sessions

We conducted various training sessions on humanitarian aid at different institutions, including Darkei Noam, Lamrot, and Club Hebraica.

During these meetings, we shared tools and knowledge on emergency response, promoting preparedness, solidarity, and commitment to communities.

Hand Sanitizer Gel Making Workshop

We held a hand sanitizer gel production workshop at the Early Childhood Center (CPI) “Pequeños Pasos,” aimed at the women on the kitchen staff.

The training was led by students from the ORT School as part of a collaborative project between CADENA and Fundación Pequeños Pasos.
