Response in San José de Comondú: Together Toward Recovery

The fires recorded on July 9 in San José de Comondú caused the total loss of 25 homes and affected more than 70 families. The damage to properties, irrigation systems, and palm groves deeply impacted the livelihoods and sustenance of the community.

In response to this emergency, CADENA deployed a brigade to deliver tools and provide support to the affected families. Working in coordination with local partners, our team is involved in cleaning, rehabilitating, and rebuilding spaces, as well as driving the community’s economic recovery.
