SOL BENTOLILA, AGENT OF CHANGE
In the context of the Mujer Aló awards, our President, Sol Bentolila, was acknowledged as Agent of Change, an honor that reflects the everyday collaborative work carried out by the team that brings our humanitarian mission to life.
This acknowledgement fills us with pride and reminds us that everyone can contribute, and that small actions, when added up, have the power to transform lives.
We congratulate Sol for her leadership and thank everyone who walks alongside us in our work to change the world for the better.
WORKSHOP AT THE CORABASTOS AMAR CENTER
We returned to the Corabastos Amar Center to join boys and girls in a space we designed to connect and grow together.
During the session, we worked on identifying values alongside Julita Barreto, and, together with the SOAR Somos Arte collective, we conducted an artistic workshop for children to express themselves freely.
AN ARTISTIC AFTERNOON IN EL OASIS
In a new humanitarian intervention, CADENA Colombia arrived at the El Oasis neighborhood with a team of eight people to share a special day with 45 people in the community center.
Our main activity was an artistic Tote Bag workshop in which each participant took home a bag they decorated with their own hands.
We complemented the day’s activities with croissants and fruit juices donated by the Panadería Brot bakery.
FLORENCE BRIGADE AT THE SERVITA – SIMÓN BOLÍVAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CENTER
As a part of our Florence program, we visited the Servita – Simón Bolívar Community Development Center alongside seven volunteers to support mothers and their children under two years old.
The day’s central activity was a workshop where mothers created reusable menstrual pads. Additionally, 40 people received supplies such as diapers, lotions, baby bottles, nail clippers, shampoo, and clothing for babies and mothers.
