HUMANITARIAN INTERVENTION AT THE “SIN FRONTERAS” SOUP KITCHEN
IN THE JOSÉ C. PAZ NEIGHBORHOOD
We carried out our first intervention of the year alongside our volunteers at the Sin Fronteras Soup Kitchen, located in the José C. Paz neighborhood. We conducted a gender workshop with the women and mothers of the soup kitchen, and a children’s workshop with their kids. In the gender workshop, we created an open communication space, providing the women with a safe and supportive environment to share their emotions. The discussion covered topics such as motherhood, the menstrual cycle, and the various contraceptive methods available.
On the other hand, we created a playful space for the children where different games took place, such as running, painting, and drawing.
