Senior Citizens Workshop

At the Dos Mares Community Dining Center, we held the first gathering for older adults in the community—a space created to share, connect, and build new relationships.

This initiative aims to establish a community that meets regularly to enjoy breakfasts, activities, workshops, and learning opportunities. More than just a gathering, we want to create a place where older adults can feel supported, heard, and part of a community.

Agua Ya — Virgen de Guadalupe School

We are installing two 2,700-liter water tanks at Virgen de Guadalupe School: one for rainwater harvesting and another for potable water storage.

The installation is being carried out with the support of volunteers from Maguen David Academy, bringing together efforts to strengthen access to and availability of water for the school community.

Óptica Central at the Dos Mares Children’s Dining Center

Together with volunteers from the Hebrew Academy of Panama, we held a vision screening day at the Dos Mares Children’s Dining Center, where we conducted eye exams for 140 children from Las Garzas to identify potential needs for corrective lenses.

Based on these assessments, the necessary lenses for each child were arranged. We will soon return to the community to deliver the glasses and help ensure that every child can see, learn, and develop to their full potential.
