GO TEAM CADENA PARTICIPATES IN THE SECOND NATIONAL EARTHQUAKE DRILL OF 2026

As part of our search and rescue team’s preparedness activities, Go Team CADENA conducted two mobilizations during the Second National Drill of 2026, based on a hypothetical magnitude 7.7 earthquake affecting multiple locations across the country.

During these exercises, the team tested its capabilities in urban search and rescue in collapsed structures, technological search, vehicle extrication, hazardous materials management (HAZMAT), psychosocial support, and rope rescue.
These mobilizations helped strengthen coordination among the different operational units and participating institutions while evaluating activation, deployment, operations, and demobilization procedures in response to an emergency.

Ongoing preparedness is essential to ensuring a coordinated, efficient, and timely response when it matters most.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO OPEN UP NEW OPPORTUNITIES

In collaboration with DIF Huixquilucan and with support from Fundación del Dr. Simi, we distributed 100 school kits at CONFE El Hielo and CONFE Piedra Larga in the Estado of Mexico.

This initiative aims to support children at the beginning of the school year by providing materials that contribute to their learning and development.
We are grateful to our partners for joining this initiative and helping us create opportunities through education. By working together, we can strengthen our connection with communities and help ensure that more children have the tools they need to continue learning.
