In response to the attacks in southern Israel on October 7, CADENA Israel decided to deploy to support the displaced people. From October 8-12, 2023, we were active in the south of the country and in locations such as Tel Aviv and Moddin.

With the help of 13 volunteers and 4 CADENA professionals, we provided assistance by preparing meals and implementing psychosocial activities for displaced people, as well as various agricultural activities. We were also able to activate volunteers in the country to support affected populations.

In total, we carried out three activities with displaced children where we delivered 150 resilience backpacks to minimize the impact of attacks and the stress of forced displacement. Finally, we supported the communities of Moshav Netiv and Kibbutz Holit with donations, which will serve as emergency funds for the reactivation of their community activities and the generation of shelter.
