On August 6, 2023, we at CADENA USA hosted a back-to-school event to mark the beginning of a new school year and the start of the Tutors for a Cause program.. In collaboration with Identite.Store and KidsHopHappy, we joined forces to create an unforgettable afternoon for the participating children. We are grateful for the donation of clothing from Identite.Store and the donation of facilities from KidsHopHappy, as well as the donations we received through social media.
At the end of the event we benefited 57 people with the delivery of 400 school supplies and 200 articles of clothing. Each child received a backpack with essential supplies to get them off to an enthusiastic start in the classroom and families received the donation of clothes. It was a day full of fun, entertainment and art, demonstrating how the interaction between volunteerism and migrant students can make a genuine difference in their lives.
