HUMANITARIAN INTERVENTION AT BAHIA BLANCA

In July, a team of CADENA Argentina volunteers traveled to Bahia Blanca to continue supporting communities affected by the recent floods. A key part of this intervention was to revisit the community kitchens and institutions we had assisted during the emergency, to see how they had progressed since our last visit.

Throughout the intervention, our Gender team led workshops on menstrual health and comprehensive sex education, and our Health team provided first aid training and conducted blood pressure and glucose screenings. Meanwhile, our Childhood team organized activities with children focused on emotional awareness and creating safe spaces.

We also delivered essential winter supplies to families in need.
