COVID-19

During 2020, a period defined by the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to create new forms of response actions. We successfully carried a total of 490 cases of aid delivery internationally, 200 of which took place in Mexico. Despite the adversities of the pandemic and confinement, our results were greatly impactful: we were able to benefit 1,515,936 people; we delivered 609 tons of food; we had 1,215 volunteers in eight countries across the world; we distributed 18,343 items of prepared food, and we delivered 36,584 essential goods. Moreover, in direct response to the pandemic, we offered 18,985 clothing kits for health personnel and provided 149,022 items of protective equipment, including masks, face shields, and gloves.
