There are two stages in responding to a crisis or emergency: the immediate stage, which occurs within the first 72 hours, and the early recovery stage, which begins to take shape after a needs assessment. In CADENA, the Go Team, our emergency response and rescue team, is responsible for the immediate response. During the second phase, once the assessment is completed, we activate the hand-in-hand interventions. Here, members of Pathfinders and various CADENA Health teams are involved.
