DELIVERY OF KITS AND BLANKETS

2026 WINTER CAMPAIGN

During our 2026 Winter Campaign, we carried out meetings and activities focused on assembling winter kits and making warm blankets, together with our volunteers and in partnership with different organizations.

The campaign began with blanket-making sessions alongside CADENA volunteers. The goal was to sew small pieces of fabric together in order to create larger blankets that could keep both adults and children warm. No previous sewing experience was needed to participate: CADENA taught the technique and supported the process.

We also held a blanket-making meeting together with Casa Cusia, an organization dedicated to supporting and assisting people with hearing loss. This activity took place at their facilities and included the participation of both CADENA and Casa Cusia volunteers.

In addition, we organized winter kit assembly sessions with volunteers and CADENA Youth members, a blanket-making session with mothers of students from Arlene Fern School, and a clothing sorting activity together with Google employees, who also donated clothes for the campaign.

2026 WINTER CAMPAIGN

As part of the 2026 Winter Campaign, we carried out various interventions to deliver blankets and winter kits that had been previously prepared during work sessions with volunteers and partner organizations.

We delivered winter kits together with the open-air soup kitchen Ser Humano, in the Chacarita neighborhood, supporting people experiencing homelessness. During the intervention, the soup kitchen also provided each person with a hot meal and a drink.

We also delivered warm blankets to people experiencing homelessness in the Once neighborhood, specifically in the Plaza Miserere area, in coordination with Jabad.
